Everdeen & Peeta Mellark from The Hunger Games are one of the most famous fiction couples nowadays.
THEIR STORY
They met
for the first time after the Reaping, when they were selected to participate in
the 74th Hunger Games. During the interviews, Peeta declared himself
in love with Katniss; so, when in the Arena there is a chance for both to
survive, Katniss pretended to be in love with him, too. When they were the last ones in the Games, and
they discovered that only one could win, they challenged the Capitol threatening to both die. Since this moment, they started to pretend that they were together, so
they could fan the flames of the rebellion that is starting in Panem.
In Catching
Fire, they must go to the Hunger Games again (where they live their love as
never), but this time, Capitol kidnapped Peeta and Katniss can’t do nothing to
stop them, the rebels of the rebellion chose her to be the Mockingjay.
In the last
book, and in the last two movies, Mockingjay, Katniss tried to rescue Peeta,
and when she got it, she discovered that the Capitol had tortured him, and he
thought that she was a monster and she had to be killed. After everything and all
the problems, they finally got married and they hd two children (two boys in
the movie, one boy and one girl in the books).
WHY I LOVE THEM?
They are so
cute, I think that Katniss is better and is happier with him and not with Gale. (but
I’m not team Peeta) I love them since the first moment, I’ve always thought that
Johanna and Gale have be together.
